 Samsung will give you a free Galaxy S24 smartphone by simply updating your TV

Samsung has just announced the UK release of its next-generation television and to celebrate the launch it’s giving away free Galaxy S24 phones.


If your current telly looks well past its best, now could be a smart time to switch to something new. After months of waiting, Samsung has now confirmed the UK release of its latest crop of top-notch screens and they come with a tempting reason to tap the buy button.

Those pre-ordering the striking 2024 range will be treated to a Galaxy S24 or Galaxy S24+ (worth up to £999) for free. Yes, you did read that correctly, Samsung really is dishing out this flagship smartphone without you having to pay for the privilege.

Of course, it’s not just about getting a free phone. Samsung is promising that its all-new goggleboxes are now much smarter than anything it has unveiled before.

That’s all thanks to a speedy new processor tucked inside and the introduction of very clever AI. The combination of this latest technology not only means whizzing through menus and launching apps is now much faster but upscaling is also vastly improved.

This picture-boosting feature is vital - especially on bigger screens - as it makes Standard Definition (SD) content shine on the giant 4K and 8K panels.

AI is also helping to make content a lot more watchable - especially sports and movies which have loads of action. Features such as Motion Enhancer Pro and Real Depth Enhancer Pro automatically spot what's on the screen. Deep learning is then used to detect objects such as footballs or fast-paced action scenes with real-time effects applied to make content appear buttery smooth and more precise.

Improved sounds and richer visuals add to the appeal along with a new Infinity Air Design. This includes a screen that is now only 12.9mm in depth along with a unique mirror effect which makes it seem as if the TV hovering in its surroundings.
